K O N S E Q U E N Z E N – The central starting point of this production is the question of the consequences of our existence, our decisions and our actions. What has just happened or experienced is the consequence of a previous event, a thought, an idea. Which option, which compulsion, which public opinion or which new invention has what consequence?Ester Ambrosino reflects modern, political and emotional topics such as freedom of the press and expression, exclusion, refugee issues, climate change, sexuality, virtual reality and social networks. The depiction of an overwhelmed society with the resulting dramatic consequences is omnipresent.

A production by Tanztheater Erfurt e.V., funded by the Kulturstiftung Thuringia, State Chancellery Thuringia, the City of Erfurt and Sparkasse Mittelthuring.

Consequences was performed on the occasion of the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall as a representative of the Free State of Thuringia on 09.11.2017 at the Bibliothéque Solvay in Brussels.Consequences was nominated for the Thuringian Theatre Award 2018 in the category Production and Audience Award.
