“Regina Advento has always been a unique performer in Brazilian dance (…). When I invited Regina Advento (…) it was my intention to present the talent of this artist to the Brazilian public in her more mature phase, at a time when new opportunities were opening up in her career.
“Dreamlines – Trilha dos Sonhos” perhaps traces a transitional phase in which Regina Advento is coming into her own, searching for her own identity and evaluating content and her artistic path up to this point. Influences of Pina Bausch can be seen in this work, but the piece bears Regina’s personal characteristics, linked to her own roots, which she has never lost.”
