“She’s mine” is about a person who is also called DIVIN (the divine) and who, like Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol, can transform herself endlessly. With “la divine”, the divine, she bears a name that was once attributed to Sarah Bernhardt, the famous French actress of the late 19th century.
Divine could also come from a novel by Jean Genet or a film by Almodóvar, be a superstar like Andy Warhol, an American transvestite of the 1980s or a celebrated hero of reality TV. In “She’s mine”, all these divines live together and enter into a common dialog.
